In this type of surgical treatment, complete removal of everything in the root canal is carried out. Initially, a dentist begins with cleaning of the hollow area. After that, it has been given the desired shape and decontaminated with the help of irrigation solutions and miniscule files. Also, in this procedure, a solution of gutta percha is being filled up in the hollow area of the root canal.
Usually, after this procedure, patients do not feel any pain as the nerve tissues attached with the tooth is taken out and infection has been eliminated. The procedure is important as it saves the tooth and protects your teeth from further infection and pain.
Most people have a fear of endodontic surgery as they do not know the complete procedure. Resultantly, when in pain, most people ask their dentist for tooth extraction which is not the right solution of the problem.
